They'd have the room for MH but their depth would be diminished that's for sure. Signing Pavs to that deal wasn't the smartest move IMO

I mean after his playoff performance last year and seeing how he bounced back from that injury, giving him that contract may not have been so bad back then. When looking at it now, it destroys their cap situation

I am not sure what kind of numbers you'd be looking at to resign Heiskanen, but if I would be looking to expose Pavelski in the expansion draft or hoping that he finally hangs them up before the final season of that deal.

Honestly, I feel like most of us are looking at the flat cap and the idea of minor increases in the coming years as an affirmation that getting the young guys into the lineup and contributing is the only way to fill out a roster.

No thanks. I prefer having JR instead of JVR on our Top six next year. Much cheaper option.

I'd rather have JVR to score 20+ goals for another year and lose him in the expansion draft than just to sell him for a low return
