Open to genuine suggestions on Hertl trade if people don't think it's fair. Tried to take into account the term left on deal (not a lot), coupled with the second major knee injury in last few years. Still, I knew his worth so I traded a top 10 first rounder, a center prospect and a quality mid-tier stay at home D man to balence out the Sharks skilled D

We'll see about that... NJ has 3 first rounders and is in dire need of a player like Risto in their D core. I took the lowest of the 1sts. Don't think it''s that bad of an offer....

We could give our 2nd in '21 (Isles) and a very small add for Zadorov and be fine with that.

It's tough to tell... I think something's fair then the trolls come out with lunacy accusations... Plus it was an excuse to get rid of McCabe who I'm not fan of but would do well out west.

It’s not lunacy. He’s the best player on our team and he’s only 27! Him leaving would decimate our team so to get him we need a Karlsson like trade!( 2 firsts top prospect and a nhl player.) If that’s not there for him (and I Totally understand if everyone feels that’s too much) Then he stays, your issue is you guys want him and we don’t want to get rid of him, that’s means you have to pony up more To pique our curiosity! It’s simple logistics, now if he was demanding a trade and we were looking then middlestat and your first would be the best case scenario.
