If you are taking a D man from Detroit you take Ericsson without a doubt.

Some of these guys listed are still producing and are good players. Are they slightly overpaid? Sure, but they are far from "bad" contracts.

Bad contracts yet you don't have Marc Staal or Dan Girardi

Thought if this too but didn't bother nitpicking. How anyone in their right mind thinks Johnson deserves to be here ahead of G and Staal blows my mind. Mike Green? Voracek? Yeah ok they're paid more then they deserve but those guys would be the best player at their position on many teams around the league. Do they deserve to be on a list of the worst contracts? not in my opinion.
