I see Rakell as a middle 6 player, but he's only got 2 more years on that reasonable contract...
I want MTL to draft at that pick, currently standing at pick #40 (as almost everyone agrees that the end of the first round and the first half of the second round are roughly the same tier of quality) .
I'd do it for the STL pick, or if CHI moves through the play-in round, and maybe wins a playoff round. But then, it's probably not what ANA fans are looking for

Are you gonna get better than a middle 6 player with that #40 pick? Who'll make an impact this coming season and next?
