Yeah, Getzlaf is on the decline now. He's still a competent top liner, but no longer elite. He's still got the hands and IQ, but has lost a step too many at this point. I don't think he's moved. We have too much respect for him to do that.

I think we'd be interested in moving Rakell in the right deal. I don't think Lindholm, Fowler or Manson are available though.



I think the main aim in adding Henrique is that he'd be a relatively cheap addition that can make an immediate impact, which is exactly what you need to keep Eichel from putting in a trade request.

It's 5.85 and it would be for 4 years. Henrique's contract is cheap compared to MJ's. 5.85M per for 26 g and 43 pts vs. 4.5M for 9 g and 30 pts... and don't get me started on Frolik.

Henrique would a cheap addition in terms of trade value and he's a darn sight better than most of the forwards you have. I have no idea how you plan on fixing BUF if you're scared of taking on big contracts. Ain't no one giving you good, cost-controlled assets without asking for a tonne in return.
