Description
A player will be considered a prospect until he meets the following criteria:

If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenceman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.

Thoughts? Who's too low & who's too high?

I still think Vesalainen is 3rd on the list. The Moose were really bad this year, Griffith led the team in scoring and only had 41 points, 11 more points than Vesalainen. This past year was his first year in NA after playing in the SHL, Liiga, and the KHL all before he turned 20; it’s kinda hard to adapt to NA hockey after playing in so many different leagues. He still has all the tools to be a top-six power forward, he just needs a bit of time to adjust.

With a full season with Gustafsson and Griffith, and on the PP with Gawanke and Heinola, I think he can put up big numbers next year. Just a bit of patience is required with him.

I still have full confidence in Vesalainen, all points you mentioned are very valid! He could easily slot in at 3 although I would have a hard time moving Harkins haha.

This prospect list isn't encouraging to me.. Lol

Really really miss the pick from the Stastny trade now, Sandin would look so good in a Jets jersey!

You have them ranked okay but some guys should be higher and others lower, Gawanke, Kovacevic and even Chisholm should be higher imo, really think Niku and Vesalainen have fallen more and guys like Reichel and Luoto aren't even prospects, just AHL players.

Stanley is a bust, hate to rag on the kid as I'm sure he's a nice lad but if he amounts to a 3rd pair dman I'll be blown away, Chevy really blew it with that trade and selection.
I'm disappointed the organization never gave Spacek a look, he's done fairly well in the AHL so was at least worth playing but they only called him up to sit him in the press box, they actually traded him in the AHL this season so I doubt he gets a qualifying offer this offseason, I'm not sure we can really consider him a prospect really anymore.
Unfortunately Luke Green can't stay healthy, he's looked really good in the AHL and preseason but injuries have set him back.
Skyler Mckenzie sucks, he's never making it, was a late round pick so no big deal but still don't see what they saw in him, most small guys are fast but his skating sucks, he's not a prospect imo, an AHL player.
Gustafsson looks like a 3C at best which is okay but seems like a "safe" pick which seems like a pattern by the Jets, like am I the only fan who finds it concerning that other then Helly in the 5th round that the Jets haven't found a top 4 D or top 6 forward in any round other then the 1st round? Thankfully they've hit on most of their 1st round selections but past that it's Helly who has been good but otherwise it's Lowry, Copp, Poolman and maybe Niku as the only picks after the 1st round that have amounted to anything, sorry but that's not all that impressive of a list after almost a decade of "drafting and developing". Are they not taking chances on guys with higher ceilings and taking safe picks? Idk maybe it's all just a crap shoot, you hit some and miss some but I think it's concerning they haven't found a later round gem other then Helly cause a lot of goalies come from later round selections.

A lot of the other prospects here aren't signed and are real long shots to be NHL players, was hearing good things about that Nathan Smith kid but not much lately, wonder if he'll ever amount to anything.

Not sure if you purposely put goalies separately but I think Berdin is somewhere in the Jets top 5 prospects, I'm really hoping he makes the Jets soon and he isn't lost in the damn expansion draft!

This offseason whenever it happens is HUGE for the Jets, need to draft the best center available or trade the 1st for a longterm 2C.

There is definitely some room on this list for players to move up/down that's for sure! I tried to sort of rank them on what they have already accomplished at there respective levels of hockey and not solely on potential which is why I may have some guys higher than others (see Niku for example) even though I think over the course of this year, guys like you said could leapfrog them. I think this is a sink or swim year for Niku. Give him a shot, but if he can't hold his own in the NHL, maybe it's time to move on. Like I said in my earlier comment, I still want to see what Vesalainen can bring this year, I think there is still lots of potential and I can see him excelling given top minutes with the Moose. I do also agree in saying the Jets tend to make the "safer" pick although you gotta admit, sometimes it really is just a crap shoot lol.

I couldn't have goalies in a forward position but yes agree with the Berdin comment. Hopefully he remains a Jet after expansion! This is also a big offseason with a few holes to fill, hopefully Chevy isn't too conservative but we also gotta make our signings count. Hopefully resign DeMelo, sign another Top 4 LHD as a bit of a stop-gap, and a 2C especially if Little is LTIR bound. Perhaps even another top 9 forward.
