Gonna have to give a team the Canes first if you want them to take Stalls contract. Leafs had to give up a 1st to move Marleau who had a similar contract to Stall

just based it off of other kings posts and saw staal 2 mil retained for a 5th so i thought add howden and maybe remove the retention

judging the way Quinn has put the lineup together, I think staal does not get moved or bought out. will probably be in the lineup next year. and I would not be surprised at a 1 year minimum extension after that if the kids aren't ready

I wouldn't be adverse to receiving a forward as compensation for taking Staal's contract, but whoever you send needs to be expansion draft exempt for the Kings to consider.
