This will probably be the team unfortunately. They need to move Montour or Ristolainen for forward help.

I would be very happy with both trades. I think either Montour or Risto get moved along with picks/prospects for a top 6 forward. Also I can't see Johannson as a backup this year he clearly showed he was not ready yet

Risto isnt going anywhere yet. Montour maybe. You already judged Johansson's readiness in the 6 games he played? He will be 25 and if he doesnt get a chance to show what he's got then why would we even resign him?

In the 6 games he played the nhl game was too fast for him. He needs another year in Rochester. If there is an injury you bring him up. But I think it would be a very bad idea to go into the season with him as the plan as backup. If he plays like he did this year then that would be worse than Hutton was and we know what a disaster that was.
