So if they switched roles Eichel would obviously be better because, he wouldn’t get doubled team when he touches the puck. Reinhart and Olofsson are good players, but don’t drive the play very well. If Eichel had Marner he would dominate the league. Eichel has a slightly better PPG since 16-17 which is hard to believe considering how bad the Sabres have been.

Im just honest.. Eichel is top 10 player in the league. Matthews is too.. Its just about preference.

Matthews is the better goal scorer, Eichel is a better playmaker. The one huge difference is Matthews is better at encouraging his other teammates to score goals, Eichel is not. 😔

Both are dominant top-10 players in the league I just think Matthews is slightly more dominant. Thats for the difference lol.

Well of course. Its about preference. I would expect the answers to be 50/50 on Matthews vs Eichel debate because they are really close to each other.. its about preference mostly. I prefer Matthews as a more dominant player.

People are going against Matthews since he is a Leaf. If the roles were vice versa and Eichel was a Leaf and Matthews was a Sabre, everyone would say Matthews is better.

Matthews wouldn’t be as successful on the Sabres.
