So you’d rather give up Rico at his highest value (25 goal 2c) for Miller at his lowest? That doesn’t make much sense either. Also after looking some numbers up Miller might have been okay but he went from an analytics darling to just barely okay... The notion that Gudbranson is awful is true anymore. He was solid with Fowler. He’s been the partner that’s gotten the most out of Fowler in a long time. If you’re gonna move Gudbranson down for a rd that had his ups and downs this season it should be for Cernak.

Isn't that what you're supposed to do for long term success... Sell high and buy low, especially when it's two very safe bets imo to not reach that high again, and not hit that low again... It's not like it's a 1 for 1, we get a pick, cap space, a younger player, and if we decide we need a backup, I threw in Hutton who imo has basically no value either way, and yeah Guddy has been decent, but still shakey at times, and in think Miller in his down year was still better than Guddy this yr... I would love Cernak, but it's gonna cost a hell of a lot more than Rico, especially if we're getting a second back as well

Better hope Fowler and Miller keep the puck in the ozone every shift.
