TBL CBO

Créé par: CaptainFlynnt
Équipe: 2020-21 Lightning de Tampa Bay
Date de création initiale: 10 avr. 2020
Publié: 10 avr. 2020
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Just a basic exercise to see what a flat cap with one CBO would like look if TB wants to keep all there RFA's. They barely come in under the cap with a 20 man roster. Will they have the depth they need to be a contender?

If another team was able to get Sergachev to accept an offersheet of $7M+ I dont see how TB matches.

@coga16 as pointed out, Jost would not be an acceptable return for Killorn. They need < $1M contracts back.

Got news for you Cirelli gets every bit as much as Sergachev, Cirelli is considered one of Tampa's bright spots he'd be the least likely to move. Julien Brisebois would move on without either Cernak or Sergachev before Cirelli that's for dang sure.

Good to know, I personally want to offersheet Sergachev so if the other guy wants more that makes it easier.

Sergachev still would need to sign any offer sheet, Doubt he'd take one from Montreal. Heard he was pretty miffed by the whole trade situation plus loves it in Tampa now. Any other team he might bite if the AAV is close to $7 million or so.

Gourde has a full NTC, assuming he wants to stay in TB.

As does Johnson, Palat, Hedman, Kucherov, Stamkoc, Coburn etc.

Why would any sane GM want Yanni Gourde at 5 years left and an AAV of $5.166.666 left on his deal? He's pretty much a 3rd liner now and in the future.

Doesnt have to be MTL, could be any team. He could even just sign an offersheet to use as leverage against TB if he wants to. Say for example TB says we will only give you $4M × 2 years. Well Sergachev and his agent have an offersheet of $6.34M × 3 years. They likely accept and say ok TB, you can match or we are gone. Offersheets are the only leverage RFA's have over there team, they should be used.

I would have no issues giving up Jost and hes not goign to get more than 1.5m on a bridge deal, I think 1.25m 1 year deal would be fair for him.
if they want 1m contract then Kamanev would be the young RFA forward to send them with some draft picks

He has 2/3 of his contract paid for and the freedom to sign a new contract with any team he wants, assuming he gets at least $3M then he is making money off of it.

I assumed Jost was better actually, for a 10th overall pick it's not looking good. I could see TB getting him relatively cheap, but it wont necessarily help them keep all of their RFA's if that is the ultimate goal for them.

And if he gets bought out he gets 2/3 of his remaining salary, but he is free to sign a new contract with any team he chooses. He would probably get $3M so instead of making ~$5.1M he gets probably $6.5M. He gets more money by being bought out.

Yes I am trying to pick him up after he gets bought out. But I thought also if we traded for him and Tampa retained a bit of Salary and bought someone else out. It would help them as well. They would save on 2 fronts. But you cant figure that out.

Jost is a tricky guy to rate...on the surface if you look at his box stats it seems like hes not very good or blah. I dont know how many games that Avs had had that he has looked so solid. good process player forcechecks hard, creates chances, can PK...the guy is legit cursed offensively. He has a break out in him still, but wont with the Avs, they just have too much talent in the top 6 and coming that hes goign to get forced out very quickly if not already.

hes a 3rd line player, he has carved a role out in that area that is responsible defensively and smart so he wont hurt you with when hes out on the ice

You cant figure out that this has nothing to do with you or TB! Gourde has a NTC! It is more beneficial for Gourde if he gets bought out then waive his NTC! Additionally, TB might not even buy him out there are other options like Johnson!

Gourde has all the control here, not the oilers, not TB, and definitely not you lol. That's why players ask for NTC's.

      Tell me you are following.

      Edit:
Why wouldnt you just sign him after he is bought out anyways? Why would you pay an asset to trade for him when you could sign him for free?
