Ik you don't like Rossi, and there's nothing I can say that will change that, but there's at least 9 or 10 prospects in 2020 that are better than the third best prospect from 2019... Rossi could very well be NHL ready next year, honestly similar to Zegras in terms of % chance at making the NHL, and he's only in his DY...

I would consider a package of Thrun and Tracey instead of Zegras, as I just told OldNYIFan. You have to understand, however, just how much leverage that Carolina has in any Dougie deal. Just like in the Faulk extension negotiations, they didn't have any urgency or desperation to trade him without an extension in place, and to add to it, unlike Faulk's deal at the time, Hamilton's current deal has no NTCs whatsoever. This means that every single team, including teams even more desperate for defense than Anaheim is, like Winnipeg, can negotiate an extension with him if the Canes put him on the trade market. If Anaheim doesn't offer Fowler/Rakell/Zegras, Winnipeg could easily counter-offer with one of Connor/Laine, Pionk, and Heinola, just as an example of the possibilities.

Do you happen to know where I can find a write up of his model/the formula he uses... I don't follow him on Twitter or anything... Let's just say I'm not the biggest fan of how he or Michah apply their formulas...
