Im not actually sure on value, but hear me out. Liljegren for Cernak swap. Helps both teams imo

You would get similar two-way RD back who is on ELC and that helps cap situation of yours and keeping Sergachev. You can put Liljegren into lineup and play him. He is good. Leafs probably add little, but its close in value imo. You tell me. Foote, Liljegren both coming in would be big help cap wise. Both have two more years on ELC. Leafs sign Cernak to Pesce-like contract.

It helps both teams imo. Cernak is defensive Dman who can move the puck and is tough to play against but needs contract. Tampa gets more offensively capable two-way Dman that is smaller than Cernak but still strong two-way guy who would fit with Hedman or McDonagh perfectly.

Couldn't agree more, With Tampa being my 2nd favorite team. I definitely approve of this trade. Nicely done.

The trade makes a lot of sense with TO out of time to develop Liljegren a Cernak Liljegren swap is pretty smart for both teams

Lundestrom is step back in production tbh, but he might fit in better than Kerfy. HE is defensively great, speedy, is a strong player with and without the puck and just imo better fit cap wise and for future.
