Not gonna lie, I do like Conor Sheary. In fact, he is one of my favourite players in the league, but with all due respect, he stinks. The guy keeps falling down, fumbling the puck and missing wide of the net. How is he in the NHL? He should be in the ECHL to be honest. I don’t understand why the front office and leadership group view him so highly. Sure he’s fast and he forechecks. But he hasn’t even been driving for possession the last few games which is supposed to be his strength. Here is a list of alternatives I felt the Penguins could’ve traded for instead of Sheary.
Letang constantly shooting the puck into the guy standing still right in front of him is killing the team. Sullivan is preventing the team from getting better.
Well I’ve always heard that Sid likes playing with players like Simon & Sheary cuz they drive possession & choose to carry the puck on the zone entry rather than dump it in like Hornqvist. He’s very picky about his linemates.
yeah I think Sid chased him off his line before he was traded. He simply doesn't do anything on the ice. He stands there, won't fight for the puck, doesn't play defense, he's absolutely f ing worthless.
Sullivan's ... personality... feelings... have far too much influence on moves vs what is actually good for the team.
If he was on a bottom feeder team, he'd have been fired by now. He only gets propped up because he has generational talents on the team.

Yeah I wouldn’t call him lazy; he does hustle & get in on the forecheck, it’s just he stinks at what he does. Guy is not even good enough to play in the AHL.

he's not lazy, he just stands there because he's scared to get hit.
watch him, especially in his own end. He is worthless there. He won't do anything.
