From a Rangers standpoint I like the Nash/Girardi trade but I can't see us eating 2 million a season for 3 years, I'd say more likely the Wild just eat his contract and up the retention for 50% on Nash.

NYR trade is bad for Wild. Giving up the best player (Brodin), a 1st, and taking a 3.5m cap hit.
Koivu probably says no to any trade.

Nino will be getting $4.5m+ (going off of this year's contracts). Haula $2-3m range, Granlund $4m+ range.

I'd guess Granlund, Zucker, and a dman are traded/picked for expansion next season.

I would love the Nug trade for the wild but i dont see EDM wanting pominville's contract, but i dislike the NYR trade from a MIN perspective, that is a lot of aging players to take on especially when Nash is declining in production.

I just dont see this happening because it seems like a hard push for a cup but doesnt look like a cup team 2 seasons from now
