Pageau will fetch a 1st.

Ennis is worth a 3rd, combine that with taking the Backes contract for a 1st

DeMelo is categorically not worth it... He should be worth a 2nd as an 800k analytics darling RHD.
I could maybe see it if we give the pick Top10 protection, and send them the dallas 2020 2nd

No team is giving you a straight up 2020 1st for Pageau or DeMelo

Compare their stats. Look at their age. 1st round picks occasionally get moved. Get over it.

I guess if you imclude a 3 year extension at 5.5M you will get that first.

Any trade involving Pageau and/Demelo that says 1st in it will be packed full of conditions. You want a comparable trade look at Zuccarello then factor in the difference in draft class of 2019 and 2020. Theres your value on Pageau
