Khovanov will not be ready for the NHL next year and Galchenyuk would be a very redundant part for the Wild. I’m ok with the trades though.

Not to mention expecting Granlund to come in and be your 1C is probably not a very realistic idea.

I meant to comment on that too but forgot. Granlund has proven he’s not a center many times over.

Unless Guerin finds a blockbuster trade somehow, pretty good chance the only change in centers for next year is Koivu out and Sturm in. Haula or Pageau are probably the best UFA centers who might be available so there is that option too. Staal/Haula as their 1C/2C wouldn't win a Cup but would be an improvement.

You can move Kunin to centre and Granlund to wing and switch the lines around, not a big deal.

I don’t think Kunin can stick at center either.

For one season he probably could, they really need to draft a center first round this year and probably also trade Dumba or Brodin for one eventually.
