Weise more suited for a 4th liner grit player then Galchenuyk and you got Samuel Houde former 5th rd pick ( MTL have too many prospects to sign this summer so I think he’s the odd man out )

Yes youre right about weise but again, we dont need him. We have players that can do that but also have more offensive upside. Plus we already have a solidified 4th line in ZAR - Blueger - Tanev (which is really a 3rd line tbh). We are waiting for Bjugstad to return and our 3rd line will be something along the lines of Chucky Bjugstad Hornqvist assuming no other trades are made and weise does not belong on that line. So i dont think the penguins are really in need of his services.

Out of Weise and Galchenyuk:
- One can play a role on an NHL team and play it well.
- One is not a black hole defensively.
- One is a great teammate and a great guy that people want to be around.

While Galchenyuk may be more skilled than Weise, Weise is a better NHL player than Galchenyuk. Weise is perfect as a 4th liner, while Galchenyuk is as good as a 4th liner, but has none of the skills a 4th liner needs. Even not including Houde, this would be a horrible trade for the habs, even without taking into account the cancer Galchenyuk is to a dressing room.
