Description

Matt Murray and T. Jarry were both signed to 1 year contracts to see who will be the goalie of the future, Taylor Hall was signed for 6.9M to help the team go all in for a Stanley Cup (Ik he's worth more money but he's only been to the playoffs once in his career so he's taking a pay cut to save money for depth and to get a Cup) Alex Pietrangelo was signed to help push us over the top, Kadri was traded in for center depth. Ik it's not actually gonna happen but just imagine if it did.

Hol' up. I get that you think none of this will happen and its more of a fantasy than a realistic approach to a team..... but why would you trade brian dumolin? He is the best defensmen on the team with respect to defense. If you are gonna sign Pietrangelo (which obvs he wants a payday so a 2 year deal will never happen) then play him on the second pairing on his right side. Your D pairings should be

Adding a top RD makes no sense when you have Letang and Marion, who is looking like a legitimate no.2 RD.

Hornqvist also has the ability to reject any trade.

Dumoulin is on a great contract and is the team's best LD and best defensive D man. Makes no sense to trade him. He's also worth more than a second.
