Detroit one isn't fair? You're not getting AA without one of either Georgiev or Skjei being part of the deal. Yzerman set the bar on AA for a 2020 2nd round pick+b level prospect. That doesn't cut it.

Since Detroit doesn't have to trade AA he isn't a UFA for 2 more seasons and since his value is low right now it makes sense to hold on to him and see if he rebounds.
