Flames accept, Leafs Decline. Phillips isnt really a center at this point and has more or less become become strictly a RW (probably around the same level as Bracco). If you are looking for a LD that has 2nd line potential and is NHL ready (Since that wont get you Sandin) Kylington is available with Valimaki returning from injury. I am curious if moving out west and to Canada will be like Trouba playing in WPG though for Deangelo. He's from just outside of Philly so fairly local to NY.

As for the Leafs trade, Sandin is a highly regarded LD prospect that will likely be #2/3 caliber Leafs need a back up but they can get one for much cheaper then a 2nd and their best prospect.

Thanks - I like posting these because I get insight from fans of other teams. I follow the Rangers and the NHL in general as much as I can but can't get in depth into every team's roster and prospects.
