This is likely an overpay for Anderson, though Columbus really has no interest in this trade as we don’t need more RWs coming back or any Defence.

It would take an overpayment to get Anderson out of CBJ imo. Honestly not too much of an overpayment though because you are taking kevans contract for the playoff run

Ummm.... playoff run? Columbus isn’t in a spot for making a playoff run. And honestly the more I look at it the less incentive I see to make the trade from a Columbus stand point...

Overpay on Anderson. Underpay on Palmieri. That would be an underpayment without Backes, with him it’s even worse.

Would not trade Bjork for Anderson straight up honestly. He’s worth no more than a 3rd and a mid-level prospect.

Lol what? This is the josh Anderson that has one goal, correct? Columbus takes this deal without a second of hesitation, as it’s an absurd overpay.

Lmao. You only look at goals and points. Anderson bring more then that to the table. Columbus has no need for the package you’ve offered. We don’t need D or more RWs.... so why do we trade Anderson, who is having a down year, for a package that gets us nothing of interest.

Tbh Columbus isn’t wanting to move him so.... there really is no trade here...

You can lmao all you want, but i know that Anderson brings more to the table than points, and that’s not all that i look at. I got to see Anderson a bunch when the bruins beat the wheels off them in the playoffs last year. I like his game, but he’s struggling. Players that provide little to no offense don’t tend to get back a good prospect and a good young roster player. A significant argument can be made that Bjork is the better player right now.

Bjork plays both wings, and has in college, the AHL, and the NHL.
Frederic, selected in the first round a couple years ago is a center.

I don’t really know what you’re talking about positionally. I don’t think the jackets trade Anderson. Their management is trash, he’ll get a one year deal through arbitration, and be on his way next trade deadline for a fraction of his worth.

Okay. I was going to say something be there’s no use.... You wouldn’t like what anyone else thinks anyways. If it’s not you it’s wrong.

Out of curiosity do you think there’s a word in my post that’s actually incorrect. I think all of it is basically fact. Like the positions that the two prospects play. You may have thought Frederic was a RW, but he’s just not. There’s no wiggle room there.

It’s not about the prospects. It’s about the management. You wouldn’t understand my thought process though. Boston fans don’t know what it means when a team keeps saying maybe next year, year after year after year. So yes, jarmo made what most fans of other teams would say “trash” moves, but in reality he did what he though was right for the team and the fans. I for one didn’t like the idea of going all in for a playoff run and losing the players we did, but at the same time I also understand that Columbus has always been one of the lower teams in the league and fan were starting to get tired of management say maybe next year. So jarmo said screw it, we’re going to lose bob and Panarin anyways and this is the best team we’ve ever had, why not try to make a run at it. He stood up and told the fan base in Columbus we’re going to try and go for it right here and now. Other teams might not understand that because they’ve never had to deal with the team being so close to the playoffs and not do anything for a long time and once it’s almost ready for a run start of er and trade everyone away... I don’t want to sound mean but you Boston fans are massively spoiled over the last decade and probably longer with the unprecedented success of your sports teams in one city, between the bruins, patriots, Celtics and Red Sox, Boston has one a championship or at least been close to a championship for so long, Boston fans look fine on the rest of the league and talk about how bad others managements are... not every team has players libeling up to come play for them like, Boston, Toronto and New York do. Columbus isn’t a destination for most free agents unless they’ve been there their whole career and don’t want to leave... that’s when you have to make the most of your opportunities and go for it when you have the chance.

So no your whole comment isn’t “fact” some of it is... other parts of it is options and you’re entitled to have those, just don’t call them “facts”

Well the substance of the post was:
Bjork plays both wings: fact.
Frederic is not a winger: fact.
Guys that are not putting up much offense from the wing don’t tend to net big returns in trade: fact.
