Toronto declines; the main piece is a rental LHD, Melker is a 12th/13th forward making $2M, and True is okay but ultimately a throw in. I imagine Toronto brings up Sandin before moving Kapanen for a rental.

I actually like the trade for the Rangers. Maybe another team beats it with a first and a nice prospect, but if this is what the Rangers come away with I'm okay with it.
