Not bad. Agree both Rempal and Brickley have multiple guys in front of them. Not sure what their value would be though. But both were Highly coveted after college

The Rangers' prospect pipeline is one of the few in the NHL that is better than the Kings'. Rempal and Brickley would be non-starters for the Rags. They're both overaged and undrafted prospects that will probably spend their entire professional careers in the AHL. No one will give up anything of value for them.

If the Kings really did want Andersson, I could see the Rangers possibly looking at Luff, Wagner, or Amadio as the target for a trade. I don't think the Kings would be interested in Andersson though, as the biggest knock on him has been his skating, and Blake has said that they're not looking at players whose skating isn't up to par. Additionally, a young player that demands a trade and walks away from his team isn't going to be on the top of anyone's "desirable" list.

Too many red flags.

Blake drafted Vilardi who's biggest issue which dropped him down to 11th overall was his skating. So im not too sure how committed Blake is to that skating statement. I could see the Kings parting with Luff and Amadio to take a chance on Andersson.

The 2017 draft was two months after he had been promoted to GM, before it was clear that the Kings were going to be that terrible that quickly, and likely well before he established that philosophy. The statement that he made regarding the skating threshold wasn't made until the season ticket holder event in the Summer of 2018.

If it was just the questionable skating, I could see Blake at least making a phone call to the Rags front office to see if he could get a good deal on a former top 10 pick. However, this new development of him walking away from his team while under contract pretty much eliminates any possibility of them doing so. This isn't a Puljujarvi situation where he wasn't under contract and was exercising his rights as a RFA by signing a contract in Europe. Andersson has a contract and pretty much told his team to F-off because he felt like he was being mistreated. No one wants a player like that in their organization as discontent can be contagious.
