I think that given Streit is on the out and Ghost is taking over they will need to give ghost the role of PP specialist... Edmonton can use a guy who is good on the powerplay and they have no use for Yak anymore.. it is essentially a wash trade.. I think Philly has enough leadership that Kane will adapt in the city of brotherly love and i agree with your Shattenkirk insight 100%

Ghost nor Shatty are top line layers. That combo would leak goals and chances. Del Zotto is our best all around dman and on the 3rd pair...yuck

Streit has a modified NTC also (like a 10 team trade list?), and I doubt he'd waive it, even to play w/ McJesus. I think Yak would do better with a new team that would use him in a role where he wouldn't have to try to be the main driver of possession. I don't know if that's the Flyers, but him playing wing with Couturier sounds kinda sexy.

Shattenkirk would be hands down our best dman all around by a long shot if he came to philly... ghost is an up and coming player who will likely see more time given his success last year.. he was still +8 even with 22 PPP last season... and I would trust Gudas over Del Zotto any day
