Out of the 3 - 11 million guys. Marner is the most likely to go. Still not probable. Their other option is Willie but his contract is a lot more manageable.

The reason Bracco gets a shot on that line is because he is a good playmaker who can set up JT. That line definitely gets weaker. But our defence gets much better.

Both the Dumba trade and Pietroangelo signings are low probability. But we are here to try out different things and play with the cap.

I don't see the wild being interested in that trade. If wild trade Dumba they would want Nylander. If they were to go with Marner they wouldn't be giving up a 1st and a 2nd.

Dumba for Nylander 1 for 1 could definitely be an interesting "hockey trade".

Marner has more market value than Nylander. Even with his contract. Nylander is still worth quite a bit.

There a zero percent chance you get Dumba for Nylander. if Nylander could of got a top pair or even proven top 4 dman then they would have just kept Kadri instead, saved 3 mil on the cap, idk maybe to have room to sign an effin back up goaltender. Kadri brings way more of a complete game and hes locked up on one of the better value deals. Dubas even said during the offseason that it became pretty clear that Kadri was the only way they were gonna make a legit trade for a dman.

The cap isn't going up next year. Its being said that it will be frozen at 81.5 mil until Seattle comes into the league. Next summer will be the toughest for Toronto...

I agree Nylander for Dumba would mean Leafs add. Wilds biggest need is at center followed by right hand shots. Nylander checks both boxes Marner just 1. Marners salary coupled with Wild having to probably add more to the trade, I think Wild pass on a deal for Marner. However a deal starting with Dumba and Nylander could probably be worked out.
