Hyman and his 2.25m cap doesn't really hurt Leafs cap much, . I would think if the Leafs need cap space to spend a Dman or two, higher cap forwards have to be traded.

As a Leafs fan I’m really hoping he stays in Toronto next year and resigns to stay even longer. Need a couple more guys like him, not less.

With consecutive 40 Points Seasons he will be 4M+....and with allowing Mikheyev to leetch Points in first two lines more money will be dried on LW.

Will hate losing the guy like him but hes expendable right now cause of the things said above, except if you want Marincin - Holl to be your 2nd Pair next year.

I would try with Hyman <-----> DeSmith + 2nd 2021

I’d look to move Johnsson before I’d move Hyman if you’re just looking to make cap space. Got no problem with Holl in the second pair. Not sure where you get Marincin up there though with Rielly, Dermott, and Sandin on the depth chart on left side
