I think Devils have a very bright future, and especially if they can nail a hall trade they should have a plethora of good high end young players. Hughes and Heisher should be a great pair of players to build a team around

Honestly, Alexis Lafreniere has got to be one of the least talented prospects in history. There’s literally nothing that stands out about him. He’s slow and has poor skating. He’s not capable of stick handling and walking past opposing players. When the puck is on his stick, he generates no magic and ends up losing it most of the time. He lacks agility, hockey sense and creativity. Away from the puck, he’s a straight up liability. I can’t believe people believe this guy will be a generational talent, he’s not even good enough for the AHL. Cole Caufield will be miles better than him.
