No way. The way he's being deployed has been working. He'll get a full-time spot next year, either Mayfield or Boychuk will be traded (probably Mayfield).

It would require Lou to get creative during the off-season - Leddy + komarov would need to go

One of mayfield/boychuk will get injured this season - it is inevitable with their style of play. Once that happens, dobson will cement his spot in the lineup. It will be another toews/hickey situation

3C is the biggest need by far. We get that squared without any major injuries and we will have a really good chance.

I like the Ottawa trade a lot. However, I think the Zucker trade is a bit of an over pay. If that's the case might as well go for Hall or Drouin.

I like Pageau, but Zucker’s contract will be tough to square with all of the new signings. Even if it is nice to have Top 6 forwards under contract.

I think Pageau is the depth forward we need to make us a 3 line offense. As for help in the Top 6, we’ve got Wahlstrom, Holmstrom and perhaps Bellows. That’s a lot of help we’ll get in the form of ELCs, we just need to be patient.

5.5 isn’t that bad to fit in. They just need to get rid of the dead weight. Wahlstrom will be on the team next season, Holmstrom is at least 2 years away IMO. Bellows ceiling is a 3rd line player at the moment. He has been brutal.
