Fiala isnt a upgrade over lehkonen I don’t see the point of trading a perfectly good lehkonen for a players who seem to have lost is game.

The last thing the Wild need is another LW, so if we're trading Fiala it has to be for a pick or for a RW.

Im surprised you didn't mention Center. That center line depth is awefull and there's few prospect to replace them.

Yeah center too but we have a bunch of middle 6 centers (Kunin, Eriksson Ek, Koivu, and Staal) and realistically speaking the only type of center we're getting for Fiala is a middle 6 center. Plus, Boldy has been playing center in college and he has the size and two-way ability to develop into an NHL center. That's why I said RW.

I don't see any top 6 in that list.

I said middle 6, not top 6. My point in my previous comment is that if we trade Fiala for a center, it won't be for a top 6 center (which is what we need) because nobody is going to give up that type of asset for Fiala. Instead, we probably could get a middle 6 center (which we don't need since we already have a surplus) or a middle 6 RW (which we do need). We don't have any right shot RW's in our top 9 other than Kunin, who I like a lot better at center, so that's why I said we would have to trade Fiala for a RW. But yeah the center pipeline is barren. A lot of Wild fans I talk to are hoping we can luck into Byfield but I'm not holding my breath. The future is very bleak in MN.

You understand that 50% is the same thing right? In other words, Min have 3rd line centers, that's it.

You are right about how you can't trade for a good center, because the value is too high and team are hanging to them. You need to draft them.

The only solution is to make a fire sale and get high 2nd and 3rd, developp them well and hope one becomes an good NHL offensive center in 5 years.
