If Kapanen for Larsson, as a 1 for 1 deal, is not fair for the Leafs, why are they making that deal and adding in draft picks?

Can I ask why you think so? I like the idea of a more banging 4th line, Martin has a good relationship with some of the players already, Engelland is solid defensively and tough IMO would work well with a young Sandin. I think we would have guys who are capable of contributing but also have other teams not thinking they can walk all over us.

Guys like marchment or engvall are way better all around players who still play tough and are cheaper. I dont even think engelland is even in the league anymore. I dont mind having players who are tough but that's all engelland is at this point. He cant skate, he cant move the puck so he is really just a polak 2.0. Someone like marincin is overall a better player but less physical. Someone great would be gudas aho has great numbers and also plays with that sandpaper but hes more of a 2nd pair guy, if Andreas borgman was right handed he would be perfect but unfortunately they traded him, he can hit, skate, move the puck and is a decent defender
