Why do the sens "need cap". They are the way they are by design.

Well....that’s the problem. There really is not going to be much in the way of RW on the market. Toffoli is the best bet. Kovalchuk if LA retains some salary. Problem children Puju and Ho-Sang. Not pretty.

Might be better off going after a 3C and moving Coyle up to RW2.

If the Isles drop out of the race maybe. JG Pageau is a solid choice. Mikko Koivu. Possibly Eric Staal. Honestly it’s not a good year to be looking for upgrades. Not a lot of pending UFAs on non-contenders like there was last year. Pickings will be slim.

I think both Staal and Koivu have relatively high cap, although I would love to have Staal as a Bruin. I think pageau is iffy tbh. I don’t like his style of play and he seems inconsistent

Ya not a Pageau fan but he will be available and is decent enough for 3C, nothing more.

Wanted Staal last year, supposedly he blocked a trade to B’s. Both him and Simmonds. Not sure if B’s will pursue him again, no longer has an NTC but if he does not want to be here why bother.

For me....Toffoli is the target. 2nd and mid-level prospect should get it done, But again....cap space.
