Embrace the rebuild, you already have your number 1&2 centers in hischeir and hughes. Ty smith is going to be solid d man. Hopefully blackwood can be a starter till your next tendy comes along. I would be trading out players, hall would bring a prospect and a first back at least, if you retain salary on PK you'd get a good haul on sending him to a contender. If someone wants grit simmons will bring in a 3rd or 4th. I don't think bringing in players who are 30+ is the way to go at this point

Haha i kinda doubt it, i think they need him more than they need another forward. He's the only light they have on their defense of average players. I do think getting a top prospect LHD is a priority. Someone to play top minutes and then butcher could play under him taking some pressure off him. Gusev was a solid pick up for the price they paid so they got a good winger for a line, If they can land one of the top players in the draft this year again they won't be in the basement for long.
