If Buff Retires Now - Next Year

Créé par: Boggsauce
Équipe: 2020-21 Jets de Winnipeg
Date de création initiale: 5 oct. 2019
Publié: 5 oct. 2019
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Heinola is good enough to stay the whole season. Rosy and Niku both take a step forward. Copp works out as 2C. Hamonic decides to come home.

The year after, they let Perreault and Lowry walk (or trade at deadline) and use that 7M on Laine/Copp/Pionk

Good job, but it worries me that if Hamonic doesn't work out, the defence looks like ****, and isn't Roslovic playing more like a 2C then Copp?

Nah, roslovic should be playing 3c right now but Maurice is a bonehead. If roslovic got 3c minutes all year I could see him getting to 2c in a year or two.

Thanks. Yeah Copp is playing 2C right now and doing just fine so far. Could be Ros by next year. If not Hamonic, I’m sure they’ll spend the money on a decent D. UFA or trade. And yeah lol the D sucks without him but it can’t get much worse than it is right now. 5 goals against per game so far lol

What they should do is trade Lowry for a decent #4 defenseman with similar term remaining who makes similar money then simply acquire a decent 4C. I'm sure there's other teams that would love to have Adam Lowry on there team, he's overrated imo but I'm certain he'd have decent value around the league.

Between Scheiffele, Little, Copp and Roslovic do we really think there isn't enough center depth to manage the 1,2 and 3C spots? Imo Lowry should be a trade chip to help the backend if Buff isn't coming back.

This really isn't that difficult to make better, they're just so in love with Lowry they can't imagine Jetsville without him.. Lol

Riley Sheahan was on the market for so very long and finally signed for $900K, he was a good 4C option that settled for $200K more then league minimum.

I don't think the Jets need a blockbuster trade to bring in a major name on the back end, just a serviceable
#4 D doesn't matter which hand he shoots, mostly they need Buff back though.

So like Lowry for Connor Murphy or Jason Demers or Kris Russell. I’d like to see that. But your right Lowry is one of their Guys and they won’t trade him. Good idea though
MisstheWhalers a aimé ceci.
