I also think it's an overpay, drouins a mid level guy to this point in his career, kaut could end up being better, he could not, Cole is very valuable especially since byram isnt ready, blocks tons of shots, and the first in a deep draft is just way to much

If you think about it, drouin was traded straight up for sergachev after a 21g 53pt season.. he just had another 53pt season but its 2 years later and hes got less potential than he did 2 years previous... you're not getting kaut(16th overall) and a 1st for him... maybe a straight drouin for kaut trade once kaut is nhl ready which could be this or next season

underpay, give them another 1st and 2nd at least
