Hopefully Addison ,POJ, Poulin, Nathan will be ready by then. Thinking more POJ especially with the experience he gains in the AHL and could crack the roster next year.

Tanev Hornqvist and JJ anchors are heavy

Murray probably won't get 8, but he'll get at least 6 based just off of what he's done so far, but including how he's gonna play this year, so that probably leaves you with the money to resign Kahun if you play with sending some guys down and such, then JJ only has 3 years left, so his contract should be slightly more movable (probably just a second+ instead of second+third+ or first like it is now imo) so if you move him you can keep guys like Riikola and Simon... Then you might have to move Guddy, but with the way he played last year vs the way horny played, I'd much rather move horny if someone will bite, that gives you room for McCann and a 23 man roster probably, but then the defense probably looks like this
Dumo-Letang (thank God they both signed long term)
MP-Guddy (I wouldn't mind giving MP a bit more for a bit longer term of possible, and with the way this pair played last year I wouldn't mind it in the top 4)
Riikola/JJ-Ruhwedle/Trotman/POJ/Marino (pls waive JJ for cap space, then one of the 4 bottom pairing RD's gets a job, I only listed Marino bc he's been extremely impressive at everything since coming over from EDM... Sound familiar to someone else...)
Also the 4th line would probably have Adam Johnson, Oula Palve, Joe Blandisi, Kasper Bjorkqvist, and/or Nikita Pavlychev along with blueger, if that lineup of what it ends up being, but Kahun McCann and Simon bump 2 guys down and replace Horny, gj, ik you said you just guessed on the 4th liners, I'm just saying who I'd want/would probably get the jobs

You're paying Murray WAY too much, I'd never pay him a cent over 6 million
