I know Bowman and company had all the leverage but I think they got Perlini at a MUCH CHEAPER price than I thought would end up being the result and gives them a lot of cap flexibility.

I'll start with Dach for 7-9 games before deciding on where he'll play the rest of the 2019-20 season. If he is sent down, Nylander could be called up with some reordering up the middle Toews, Strome, Carpenter, Smith).

if Boqvist becomes ready to play immediately, maybe a trade for Connor Murphy can be made.

I like your team, but Colliton is big on Kampf, so I don't see him as a healthy scratch. Really like the options that the Hawks have this year.

Kampf is the best defensive forward the Hawks had last year statistically so he's not getting scratched.

A line of Cat - Strome - Kane would be a defensive nightmare for the Hawks defense which is why Kane will not be paired with them...he'll be on the 1st line and Saad or Shaw on the 2nd.

Kane double shifted at times, but it had a lot to do with the where they were at on the score sheet, zone starts, and momentum of the game. Kane was still playing the first line. When they iced that 2nd line, look at the advanced stats and you'll see how many high risk scoring chances they also gave up to the other team.
