Several teams would take quick in a heartbeat. Oilers, Calgary, flyers, Just to name a few. And they were probably on their radar before he signed that contract. I doubt they want a underperforming old man at that cap hit.

Ahh I see your bias now! You’re over valuing past team performance more than individual attributes and stat lines. You would see the regression in his game in numbers. Over a decade ago Quick was fantastic but since then he has been middling and the last two years have been brutal. Trading for him would be like trading for Cam Ward years ago, a mistake! The game is treading away from small goalies and especially ones that make lots of coin for 4 more years!
