I think the Habs are pretty much done for any major transactions. With so many prospects arguably 1-2 years away, it makes sense that MB is trying to keep the roster open for them to break in. I wouldn't be surprised if they deal a few spare parts and maybe some PTOs but nothing much more for this season.

That said, I would like to see this as the lineup for the team on opening night. Takes advantage of the chemistry we saw last season, promotes some players into a stronger role and seems balanced. Additionally, Domi was great at C but he's really a winger. I would like to see him go back to the wing

Rookies: I do believe Poehling will make the team. Maybe Suzuki will too but would likely rather see him in Laval this season. Juulsen hasn't played in a while so I can seem him starting in Laval to get his rhythm back for half the season.

I do think Juulsen will take the spot over Folin but he hasn't played in a while and I think it would do him good to get his pace and game warmed up with Laval

I honestly thought we would deal Reilly somewhere + we don't even have room in Laval for him. I like the kid, he is good, but he's losing his opportunity

realistically, Mete will never be a top-pairing NHL d-man.
