nah they won't.. Zibanejad is a 70+ player, Buch is due for a breakout, and the 2020 draft is remarkably deep should things not go well for us. Meanwhile Drai was the primary benefactor of playing wing on McDavids line.. without McDavid he's also an 80 point player.

Rangers would take that deal. The combined dominance of a line that featured Panarin (Russia) and Draisaitl (Germany) in its brutality would remind the world of the annexation of Poland.

Blues would reject that deal as Parayko is a beauty and the return is an unproven winger, the ghost of Taylor Hall and a lottery ticket (albeit a decent one)

I would say any of Lafreniere, Byfield, Raymond, Lundell and Holtz have the OPPORTUNITY to be just as good as him. This is not a slight against Leon, this is praise of the quality of the top 5 in 2020.
