I think you’re a little too high on Nylander and actually lowballing Ejdsell. The overalls are fine but I’d give Nylander medium top 6 and Ejdsell medium top 9. Everything else I’m cool with. Nice work

I don't see Ejdsell as a third liner in the NHL. If he makes it, more than likely on the fourth line or will step up to the third for injury purposes. I can't give him anything higher than a 73 due to his underwhelming statistics in the minors and his limited 6 games of NHL experience.

As for Nylander, I gave him high top 6 due to his current change of scenery and draft position. I can see why MED Top 6 potential may be better but he's only 21 and this season coming up will be the difference maker if he's a High Top 6, Medium Top 6, or if things really fall apart, Low Top 6.

The High, med, low effects their simulation. If you go to the "Edit Player" screen, no matter what age you are, you can edit their high, medium, or low potentials.

re-looked at his stats and bumped him down to an 86. He missed too many games for me to give him a major downgrade. His stats the past 6 years have been very good and also stopped me from giving him a huge downgrade

I understand that. But that sets the likelihood that the player will reach that potential. Once they finish developing in the game, they become "Exact" Elite/Top 6/Bottom 6/etc. The Exact replaces the High/Med/Low. I know you can change it on the edit player screen, but that's not how the ratings work in the game.

That's not true. If you give 33 year old Bergeron "High" Elite, he will likely stay at an elite potential for a few years. If you give him "Low" Elite, he can see a downgrade in his potential quicker.
