Tierney will have more value than that after last year. I’m betting OTT would want a good C prospect coming back.

If Tierney can take another small step forward this year, I think there's a 1st to be had for him. He's definitely closer to being a 2C than a 3C at this point, and he's still an RFA after this season.

I don't think this makes sense for Ottawa and not sure it's top priority for Vancouver either. The good thing would be that Tierney is still controllable next year and Van can flip him or move other pieces to get him under contract late summer 2020. Maybe add Sutter at a retained salary as a sweetner? At least Ottawa would be getting a center back. I still don't know that Ottawa does this.

I think top priority needs to be moving the Eriksson/Sutter contracts in order to sign Brock. I also think teams are scared of Baertschi and that he needs to play some games to up his value.
