Considering the Flames need the cap relief, I'd do this deal in a heartbeat if I was Treliving.

No need for Frolik.

Leddy is worth more.

Bellows is still a great prospect, to say he is worth nothing in a trade is ludicrous.

Frolik is a significant upgrade over komarov. Komarov should not be a regular this season.

LL and Trotz love Leo, he will be a regular. And if you replace him in the lineup do it with a young guy not another overpaid veteran.

Frolik was on pace for 20 goals and 40 + pts last season. He only has one year left. There is no risk involved - Trotz is not going to play Leo just because he’s a “character guy” - there are much better options to take the 3rd line rw spot. Clutterbuck and komarov should not be in the lineup at the same time unless there are injuries

In a top NHL offense he was, in Trotz system he’d be a 25 point player. Clutterbuck is good as a 4th line winger, and Komarov is a good 4th line winger. Martin should be the 13th forward with Clutterbuck and Leo should be on either side of Cizikas.
