You're certainly playing by the TBL playbook, alright. It's their unwillingness to make fair trades that cost them the cup last season. It absolutely should have been theirs. I wonder if they'll smarten up and realize to add difference makers it should cost you 1st round picks or high value prospects. When they're approached they ask for the moon and when they approach others they offer garbage.

Having the Tkachuk brothers together would be amazing but the SENS have guaranteed themselves a last place finish this year and I think getting a top 4 pick will be better. I wish Matthew's contract was up NEXT summer because then it would be SO GREAT to go after him.

I'd love to see Brady and Matthew play together, as I always got goosebumps watching the Sedin's play and that would be amazing to watch in Ottawa. If I'm honest though, if we're giving Tampa three 1st's and White for Point just to trade him for Tkachuk, I'd rather a trade like Brannstrom+ (+?) for Tkachuk and keep Point!
