Flames say no. Especially not at that team friendly contract they just inked Lindholm too. Marner is good, but not good enough to make up for a top line winger that can play center and kills penalties, a solid 23 year old 3rd line checking winger that kills penalties, and a top 4 d man that also kills penalties.

Marner is by far the best player in the trade, but it makes the Flames a worse team overall.
