I do like the idea of this. Zacha's kinda an odd one out in Jersey w/ Hughes. He'd be pushed to the wing there.

As far as what I've read, NJ fans seem to be up in the air on him. Some want to keep him around, some want him gone. I think if somehow the Sharks could make a move for him, Jumbo could help groom him. Plus, hes solid on the PK, which is never a bad thing to have a surplus of.

I don’t like this trade for San Jose, Suomela would get the same amount of points as Zacha (25) when he plays a full season

Those 25 points were in 61 games. Over the course of 82 games, that averages out to about 34/35 points on the season. I'm not sold on Suomela in Teal. I know last year he had to adjust to the game a bit from the game in Europe, but I just wasnt blown away by a lot of what I saw with the Sharks or with the Cuda.

Ferraro is the Sharks top LHD prospect. Merkley to me also seems more of a target in a trade like this, but I'm not sure if NJ sees Greene and Vatanen sticking around after this season, which leaves a need on the left side

Yeah but the Devils have Ty Smith and a lot more LHD prospects, nevermind that there are a lot more LHD available every summer.
