Hopefully NY can get more than a 4th for Namestnikov, especially if they retain salary, but moving him is a priority to make space for everyone else.

I would switch DeAngelo who has NHL experience with Fox who has none on the depth chart and Staal is a 3rd pairing guy as well.

Pionk was arbitration eligible whereas DeAngelo isn’t, DeAngelo is definitely getting in the 2.25-2.75 area if he signs a 1-2 year deal. I don’t think he breaks 3 million a season unless we are getting UFA years, but 1.8 is a bit too low.
