I would push Moore into Matthews - Nylander line, pump him for two seasons to be 40-pointer and trade him after ( with Mikheyev, Engvall, Marchment coming to the team as LW checkers and Bracco as RW speedster ), that would make your 3rd Line killing one tho with Johnsson - Kerfoot - Kapanen and a sexy 4th line with three players being 30 pointers for 700k

3x9 makes me puke. Although when Marner physically doesnt turn into Jesus like expected he may only get a small raise in 3 years

Spezza just might be a RWer now. Aberg, Agostino, Borgman and maybe Shore and Neuvirth. Hope the Leafs can do better, but your lineup might be as good as guess as anyones.

5 x 9,5M ( Ahos highest points got him 8,4M for 85, so lets give him his points equivalent )

Not to mention Aho was 10th in MVP voting vs Marner at nothing, and 12th in selke vs Marner at 14 which is laughable for a guy who is not even much higher than average defensively

I think Matthews leaving about 50 million on the table for 5 years is a bit of a good contract. Sure he could cash in after but he also had 3 massive injuries already.
I also rate Matthews a lot higher than Marner will ever be so its not the same to me
