Yes I know, what makes them contenders is the development of their young core (Hischier, Hughes, Ty Smith, Damon Severson) while keeping Taylor Hall and moving on from Corey Schneider. If Mackenzie Blackwood can become a 30 win goalie and Aaron Dell is a reliable backup, plus two PPG forwards in Hughes and Hall, plus one of the best defenses in the league (don't sleep on Ty Smith), this team can absolutely contend for a Stanley Cup.

If Trouba makes 8, Butcher at 5.25 seems fair to me.

Trouba had more points and knows where his own end is.

Really nice job on the contracts - if im gonna nitpick I think butcher is too high i think most shero gives is 4.6-4.75 hoping for 4.25, I don't think hall will ask for 12 but def reasonable, if he re-signs i think hell go as low as 10.5 or as high as 11.5 in order to help secure talent for the cup - blackwood a little high on aav and not sure mueller will still be around

also no need for dell imo - there will prob be better backups in the system or available at that time

LOL, i think you're dreaming if you think you're making it out of the first round. This is a wildcard team at best.

Jenner is, at this rate, likely to be our #2C. There isn't a snowball's chance in hell the Jackets even briefly consider this trade.
