If I were Ottawa, and you were willing to retain 750K on Lucic, add MARTIN POSPISIL to the deal, and change (if you want) the 2020 3rd to a 2021 3rd, I would say YES.

It’s a ridiculous trade proposal, much less adding to it. Actually the whole premise re Lucic is ridiculous. We actually brought in Lucic to solve a problem with the team (I.e. fortitude), why would we even consider trading him?

In this post it seems like the idea is to trade Lucic to OTT so that's what I'm commenting on. That's the entire point of the ARMCHAIR GM feature. If we're talking REAL LIFE then yes, I understand that CGY thinks this addresses a need. Personally I think it was a horrible trade for CGY to make. Time will tell.
